Which “Diet” Is Right for You?

For most, the word “diet” centres on weight loss. But focusing on your individual needs, nutrient intake and allergy elimination, can automatically lead to weight loss while treating & preventing a range of health conditions including allergies, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, ADHD, cancer, dementia, depression, diabetes, digestive disorders, heart disease, mood & learning disorders and auto-immune disease.

Nutritional requirements vary depending on age, gender, lifestyle, origin, genes and health status. Foods have an amazing ability to support digestion, heal the gut, strengthen immunity, fight infection, reduce inflammation, enhance mood, build muscle, boost IQ, alkalinise, feed the skin, detox and much more. A growing number of “special diets” supervised by a trained healthcare professional can effectively treat and prevent illness. These include; Paleolithic, Gut And Psychology Syndrome, Body Ecology Diet, Specific Carbohydrate Diet, FODMAPS, Gluten-Dairy-Soy-Corn Free and Weston Price.

  • Fresh & Seasonal Foods for the Family

    Fiona Inglis

The Garden Cook, Masterchef (series 2)

It’s hard to believe now, but as a child, mealtimes were a terrible battle with my parents. Poor Mum and Dad fought hard to get to me to eat anything other than sweets, and I loathed vegetables in particular. It wasn’t until I left school that I discovered the amazing world of food. Following my experience as a contestant on Series Two of Masterchef Australia, today I’m thrilled to be able to combine my love of food with my passion for working with children as part of the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation.

Armed with a Bachelor of Primary Education from the University of Melbourne, I delight in teaching my students how to grow, harvest, prepare and share in fresh and organic produce. My philosophy is about celebrating seasonal produce and teaching life skills. And as our produce is homegrown within the school grounds, we enjoy the whole process.
