Jo Whitton

Jo Whitton lives in country Far North Queensland, Australia, with her family, where she runs her business from home and home schools her four children. She has always loved to cook, and grew up in a family where wholefood cooking was the norm. Because of food intolerances, Jo began experimenting with allergy friendly cooking when her children were very young. She began her blog, Quirky Cooking, in December 2008, as a place to share her recipes and tips for healthy cooking, especially for those with diet challenges.

Chris Bohan

Chris Bohan is a designer, jeweller, and fulltime mother in Victoria. In 2005, her normal, happy toddler Jade started to lose her language skills and developed challenging behaviours almost overnight. Helen Padarin

Naturopath, nutritionist and medical herbalist Helen Padarin has been in clinical practice since 2001. She works from 2 clinics in Sydney, Australia, and was recently asked to take part in Chef Pete Evans upcoming production called The Paleo Chef, filming recipes for the new TV show. Helen has been called on to write articles for popular health magazines, and to write a chapter for a clinical textbook published by Elsevier in 2011. Since 2011 Helen has been a regular presenter and ambassador for the Mindd Foundation, and has presented for Health Masters Live and ACNEM, providing post-graduate education for GP’s, naturopaths, nutritionists and other health care professionals. While living in NZ for over 4 years, Helen also lectured anatomy and physiology for the NZ College of Massage at the NZ Institute of Sport.

Jessica Lee Sepel

Jess is a qualified international nutritionist, health blogger, and the author of The Clean Life. As a teenager and young adult food was her enemy: she fad-dietted, she was anxious about her appearance, scared of scales, and filled with self-doubt. But when she decided to study nutrition, she realised she was coming at her body the wrong way. Her extreme, restrictive diet meant she wasn’t listening to her body’s demands. Marcus C Blackmore AM (D Univ)

Marcus Blackmore was born in Queensland in 1945, received his high school education at Church of England Grammar School in Brisbane, and later gained a Naturopathic Diploma from the NSW College of Naturopathic Sciences. He served from 1969-1971 in the Australian Army with service in Vietnam. Marcus is also a member of Harvard Business School Alumni. His recreational interests are yacht racing and flying and he holds a private helicopter licence.

Marcus is currently the Chairman of Blackmores Ltd, a public company employing over 900 people in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The company markets the premium brand of vitamin and herbal products under the ‘Blackmores’ and ‘BioCeuticals’ labels and is widely recognised for its ethical practices and its treatment of staff.

Simone Lanham Sewell is a former TV journalist, PR account director, communications specialist who has over 14 years of experience in artist management. In 2000 she created, and co-owns, entertainment company Incognito Artists in the UK, USA and down under with her husband, professional tenor and entrepreneur, Geoff Sewell. Incognito Artists employs stars from the West End, Broadway and the world of opera to perform at a wide range of events doing bespoke Acts. Simone and Geoff also created the world’s first opera band Amici Forever, in 2002. Simone was co-manager and Geoff was a tenor in the group which sold over 3.5 million albums worldwide, had two No.1 albums in NZ, made No.2 twice on the main ARIA charts in Australia and #5 on the Billboard chart in America. Simone and Geoff collaborate on Geoff’s solo albums, working together on the creative process to source, write and produce tracks and do the marketing, management and release of material through their record label in NZ, Sewell Music, and with Sony in Australia.

Due to their own experience, Simone and Geoff set up The Sewell Foundation in NZ to offer information and assistance regarding biomedical, ABA and early intervention to families and practitioners treating autism. Simone wrote ‘Sienna’s Song’ on Geoff’s debut solo album, Believe, in 2008 and co-wrote ‘Heal Me’ on Geoff’s 2014 album, Live Love Sing! to raise awareness of treating autism, with all publishing going to The Sewell Foundation.  Simone is now a passionate ‘wellness’ coach, trained through IIN, specialising in helping busy women be well and find a balance, and families to treat autism and autoimmune conditions.  She’s a New Zealander, living in London since 1997, and is mum to two beautiful girls.

Geoff Sewell

Geoff loves to perform solo, with Incognito Artists and his concert Act ‘Bravo Amici’, around the world and feels his mission is ‘to touch, move and inspire people so they’re present to the magic of being alive’.  

Through personal experience, Geoff is passionate about raising awareness for epilepsy and treating autism, and set up The Sewell Foundation to treat autism, with Simone, in 2008.
